Today, the 9th of Sivan, marks the Yahrtzeit of Rabbi Yaakov Chaim Sofer ZT”L, the Kaf HaChaim (1870-1939).

Known as a renowned mekubal & a halachic authority. In addition to his monumental halachik work Kaf Hachaim, he was mechaber the Kol Yaakov, Yagel Yaakov and Yismach Yisrael.
