Today, on the 12th of Tammuz**, is the Yahrtzeit of Rabbi Elchonon Bunim Wasserman ZT”L, close talmid of the Chofetz Chaim (1875-1941).

Rav Elchonon was Rosh Yeshiva of Boronovitch & the leader of eastern European Jewry before WW II. Murdered by the Nazis Yimach Shemam.

Mechaber of multiple Seforim including Kovetz Ma’amarim and Kovetz Shiurim.
