Updated Announcement: Chicago Trip Details.
Keren Olam HaTorah is pleased to confirm that the trip remains on schedule to arrive in Chicago tomorrow, Monday, June 16. The maamad has been relocated to Chodrov, with overflow rooms and screens arranged to accommodate all participants.
We are honored to announce that the event will feature the presence of
Hagaon Harav Dovid Cohen Shlit”a, Hagaon Harav Yosef Harari Raful Shlit”a, Hagaon Harav Malkiel Kotler Shlit”a, and Hagaon Harav Yisroel Neuman Shlit”a.
A community-wide Kabbolas Ponim will be held at Khal Ohr Yisachar Chodorov, 6336 N. Lincoln Ave, beginning at 7:00 PM.
A delegation of Gedolei Yisroel visited Chicago on Monday to build support for the Olam HaTorah in Eretz Yisroel.
The delegation included:

The day began with a private luncheon hosted by R’ Chaim Rajchenbach, featuring divrei chizuk from Harav Malkiel Kotler and R’ Reuven Wolf.
The delegation visited the office of R’ Abe Gutnicki, where Harav Dovid Cohen addressed supporters regarding the urgent need to uphold the yeshivos and kollelim in Eretz Yisroel.
Next, they went to the office of R’ Yossi Meystel, where Harav Yisroel Neuman and Harav Nosson Muller spoke to participants.
Harav Nochum Binder shlit”a, rav of K’hal Hampshire Heights in Lakewood, shared a powerful message in the name of Rav Shneur Kotler zt”l:
“Chicago is rosh v’rishon in supporting Torah.”
He recalled how, between the World Wars, the Chicago kehilla was the first in America to support Torah learning, setting a precedent of mesirus nefesh that inspired generations.
Harav Nochum Binder shlit”a continued:
“Now… the eyes of all Klal Yisroel are once again turned to Chicago to take the lead — this time, to uphold Torah in Eretz Yisroel during its time of dire need.”
He remarked on the mesirus nefesh of Harav Yosef Harari-Raful shlit”a, who, with his age and frailty, made the trip, along with Harav Yisroel Neuman shlit”a, “known for never leaving the walls of the bais medrash.”
Harav Nochum Binder shlit”a concluded:
“Their dedication to the cause of Keren Olam HaTorah is mechayev all of us — obligating every member of Klal Yisroel to rise to the occasion and stand with lomdei Torah in Eretz Yisroel.”
