Forecasters say New Jersey’s string of dry days will last at least several more days. Tuesday will be a few degrees cooler, with highs in the upper 50s to low 60s, and frost is possible Tuesday night in northern and inland areas.
Temperatures then warm up, reaching the upper 60s to low 70s by Thursday and the mid-70s on Friday, the warmest day of the week. The next chance of rain is not expected until at least next Sunday.
New Jersey has now gone nine straight days without measurable rain.
